Then which Mantra Sri Shankara Bhagavatpada is referring here and also stating benefit of this Mantra as Mahabhoga? With my very humble knowledge and by the Grace of my Sri Vidya GURU and GURUMANDALA, I find 24 variations of MAHASHODHASHI MANTRA. Among these 24 variations, 4 variations begin with Kleem, Hreem Shreem. 2 of them are not followed by Panchadashi Mantra and hence these 2 Mantras are also not the one, referred by Sri Shankara in this 33rd verse . 1 is followed by Bala Syllables in a different sequence neither in anuloma or viloma. Another one followed by first three syllables of Bala mantra but ended with totally different syllables and hence none of these 4 Mahashodhashi Mantras meets as to what is said in this verse There is a Mahashodhashi begins with Sylllables Kleem Hreem Shreem conversely. This is the Mahashodashi Mantra having 28 Syllables but three Kutas of Panchadashi in this mantra is considered as Three syllables. This is the Mantra very well fits into the meaning of 33 rd Mantra, Smaram Yonim Lakshmeem. To keep the secret of the Mantra adding these Syllables conversely may not have been mentioned. This is my understanding and the learned scholars and Sri vidya Upasakas may have their own understanding which I am not denying.
Samayins perform all the rites of external worship in Chidakasha, the mental space. Repeating the mantra they establish the Triangle Yahnakunda in the Lotus of Anahata Chakra in the heart and the place the fire of Agni from Swadishthana. This is Shivagni. This 33rd verse clearly mentions that highest form of worldly prosperity, Mahabhoga, Sarva Artha can be attained by this mental worship without 64 external upachara.
Beej mantras are a combination of small but powerful words that help in mitigating the negative effects of planets in our lives. They are more effective than Vedic mantras. Chanting the Beej mantra for moon helps one develop a pure and divine connection with the moon. Here are the wordings of the Chandra Beej mantra:
The meaning of this mantra is- The glorious moon god originated from the churning of the ocean of milk by the gods and demons who wanted the nectar of immortality. This cool planet sits on the head of Lord Shiva. Lord Chandra is in the color of the snow, curds and the conch.
Prior to the start of the practice of Shambhavi Mahamudra kriya, a minute of reflection on the basic precepts presented during the program is then observed followed by the performance of 5 minutes of 3 gentle, preparatory yoga asanas (postures). Subsequently, the 21-minute kriya (inner action) begins and is practiced in Siddhasana (accomplished pose), which is a cross-legged posture with left heel pressing the perineum. Shambhavi Mahamudra begins with pranayama (controlled yogic breathing) called Sukha Kriya or Nadi Shodhana, which is an alternate-nostril breathing technique (ie, a slow-paced pranayama) to encourage balance in the mind for 6 to 7 minutes, followed by 21 long repetitions of the bija mantra (root syllable) Om chanted aloud with the thumb and forefinger touching in jnana (wisdom) mudra (seal). Next, the breathing exercise Viparita Swasa or Bhastrika pranayama (ie, a fast-paced pranayama) is practiced for 3 to 4 minutes and concludes with breath retention (kumbhaka or vessel) on both the inhalation and the exhalation while actively engaging the bandhas (muscular and energetic contraction) on the pelvic floor (moola bandha), lower abdomen (uddiyana bandha), and throat (jalandhara bandha). Finally, the Shambhavi kriya practice concludes with a 5-minute period of Vipassana meditation (dhyana) or open-monitoring meditation. The Shambhavi Mahamudra kriya takes approximately 21 minutes to complete. Please note that this outline of the kriya is intended for research purposes only; the Shambhavi Mahamudra practice should be learned under the instruction and observation of a qualified teacher.
Namaste,In the Jagadanandakaraka krithi, in charanam 4 " vara mantra grahana lola" , vara mantra has been taken to be as the gayatri mantram. Although it sounds appropriate, could it be "the taraka mantram" ,i.e. the rama nama. Then it would mean that rama becomes lola or dear to the one who takes up or grahana of the superior or vara mantra. In the same charanam why has Sugriva been taken to be vanara-adhipa? It's most common to see Hanuman clasping Rama's anghri yuga. Moreover in the shloka manojavam...Hanuman is addressed as vanara yutha mukhyam. Taking Mukhyam as head or chief ,Vanara-adhipa should be denoting Hanuman. Kindly look into these at the earliest
Dear Sir,In regard to 'vara mantra', I agree that 'tAraka nAma' is also in the same category. But, the other epithets in caraNa 4 are depicting the incidents during the life time of rAma. Therefore, it is rather a little far fetched to take 'tAraka nAma' as correct. However, your comment is there for viewers to see and draw their own conclusions. In regard to 'vAnarAdhipa', hanumAn is considered as 'vAnara yUtha mukhyam', where 'yUtha' means 'messenger'. Therefore, it may not be appropriate to assume 'vAnarAdhipa' would refer to hanumAn. Further 'nata anghri yuga' means, who submitted at the feet, not clasping the feet. In any case, as stated above, your comments are available for viewers to enable them to interpret either way. I request you to post the comments in the respective kRti and not under Alphabetical List.V Govindan
Beej Mantras also understood as Vedic Seed Mantras and are the core mantras or sounds endowed with exuberant spiritual powers. They are popularly called the audible seed version of all the Deities majorly in Hinduism. Beejas compose part of several mantra chants and hence they are almost like the batteries of mantras. It is believed that when chanted with concentration Beej mantras can fulfil the desires of the devotees and act like a protective shield surrounding them.
Also, if you are unable to pay your debts or loaded with debts, chanting Rinmochan Mangal Stotra can do wonders. It has been taken from the Skanda Purana and is dedicated to both Lord Mangal and The Monkey Lord Sri Hanuman. It is used for getting rid of debts and loans. If you are a person who loses control of their temper easily and gets annoyed you might understand the ill effects it brings in professional and personal lives. When you regularly recite the Rinmochan Mangal mantra, it will help you gain control of your temper and emotions.
The magic word here is a little bit misguiding. As magicians do some tricks and entertain us, we have the same kind of impression for black magic. Black magic is not a magic or trick but it is an ancient science, which involves mantras and power of thoughts, which can affect your life in a great way. Modern science is yet to unveil the science behind mantras. As you know some mantras have a good effect on our body, the same way there are some bad mantras, which can harm us.
